| For all you soapers |

From the us_box newsfeed:
"SOSCCON Conference is putting unique items from U.S. Box in all the attendees welcome packages. U.S. Box is committed to supporting the soap and candle industry with unique packaging for both the small and large business."
I know a lot of the folks I've been meeting on some soap LJ's and message forums will be attending SOSSCON - too bad I won't be able to attend. (No time, no money, and I think some friends are planning on kidnapping me for my birthday this weekend.) |

Another of the ideas being floated for the US Box website is to plonk a picture of yours truly right next to the blurb for free art and design. (Put a face on the art department... I guess it could work.) Of course, Chris (who's our photographer in addition to being the Web and IT guy) will have to find time to take a shot of me. All the pictures *I* have are several years old and not really professional looking. |

| Spreading the joys of technology |

I guess I need to add "technology evanglist" to my job description as well - I've managed to get the web guy (My friend Chris) and the boss into the idea of adding an RSS feed for the US Box website. Check it out at http://www.usbox.com/blog.xml.
Right now there are only a few entries, but I'm thinking that we could use it to send out new product info and press release type information to our customers. We already do several email based newsletters and targeted ads to existing customers, but what can it hurt to stay ahead of the tech curve? |

Well, I've finally got the layout and colors behaving. If I had the time, I'd make everything here look all snazzy - but right now I'm just happy to have it clean and readable. |
